Carol Weiskirch is awesome. She is very responsive. She would respond to text and e-mails usually within the hour. She is also clear on expectations and would point out the pros and cons of a house. The people she work with (attorney, home inspector, and mortgage broker) are all great. She definitely has high expectations. Although it might be expected that people working on home purchase/selling would be working at odd hours, I can say that the seller's team was AWOL during weekends and after work hours. But this is not the case with Carol and the people she work with. This is definitely a relief since a house is probably one of the biggest purchases anybody can do. Carol is a pleasure to work with. When it came to negotiating, she worked hard and called the seller's realtor constantly to get the price down. Statistically, it looks like we got a great deal on the house. She also went out of her way to spend time and effort to get estimates for repairs needed. She also keeps in touch after the purchase, so this is not just a business for her but she tries to build relationships with her clients. After interacting with 3 realtors over the past decade (for a previous home purchase and sale), Carol is definitely an excellent realtor. The sellers were terrible to work with but Carol still made the process manageable. In terms of knowledge, Carol definitely knows the area. We were a bit picky about the location due to work. My husband Tim and I met Carol at a random open house at the very start of our house hunting journey, and BOY was it serendipitous. She took time to sit down with us at the open-house, explain the full process of buying a home, and was just so sweet.
